If you loved “Marley and Me” you must meet Norman! Norman is a big goof ball - he is alw ays making us laugh! When he arrived he had many of Marley’s bad habits. However, now our friends marvel at the improvement he has made and we are impressed too. Norman is an approximately three year old American Bulldog/Great Dane/ Pitbull Mix(?).However, he is nowhere near the normal height of a Gr eat Dane at only 23” tall. Although he is a large dog weighing 72lbs, i t does not cost a lot to feed him.

Norman is very smart and with patience he is very trainable. He has completed beginner’s obedience and will be starting agility soon. Norman is house broken, crate trained, and is e xcellent in the car. His ideal home would be with an active family with old er children (12+) or with a single person. He needs exercise but afterwards he is thrilled to lie on the couch and snuggle with you. He loves running on the treadmill, staying on for 30 minutes without a leash!

Norman loves to go swimming. He would make a great hiking companion. He loves to jump over obstacles and is a natural Frisbee dog. Norman l oves to throw his toys in the air and bounce around playing with them. He has a funny head tilt when he hears interesting sounds. Norman is very curious and follows his nose everywhere. I wonder if he is part bloodhound sometimes!

He gets along well with other dogs after being properly introduced, and would enjoy a home where he had another dog his size to play with. He does have a strong p rey drive, but I believe he could quickly be desensitized to cats, espe cially if you have a confident cat. My eight pound Brussels Griffon rules t he roost here!

People are dra wn to Norman because of his good looks and his nice demeanor. Please give Norman a chance to be the great companion he was m eant to be - with the right direction Norman will be the best friend you’ve ever had!
